C’est scientifiquement prouvé : chanter en groupe est bon pour le coeur, par la baisse du rythme cardiaque, et c’est aussi un excellent moyen de lutter contre le stress et la dépression. Le sentiment d’appartenance à un groupe associé aux bienfaits de la musique et du chant  est source de bien-être et d’épanouissement. Après plus de 10 ans en tant que choriste, je peux en témoigner ! Je dirige la chorale Onet Gospel Choir et l’ensemble vocal Les Voix Egarées.

 

Bien que très différentes, elles ont en commun la bienveillance, la motivation, le respect et le bonheur de chanter ensemble qui réunissent les choristes. Pour en faire partie, il est nécessaire d’avoir quelques bases de chant, même débutant. Le chant choral n’est pas un cours de chant, il n’est pas possible de prendre le temps d’apprendre les fondamentaux. Cependant, comme lors des sessions individuelles ou en groupe que je propose, les répétitions commencent toujours par des échauffements et quelques exercices : comme les musiciens accordent et prennent soin de leurs instruments, les chanteurs doivent toujours se préparer avant de solliciter leur instrument : leur voix !
